Mergers and Acquisitions

We continue to grow

Since its initial public offering in 2006, DATAGROUP has successfully acquired more than 30 companies and integrated them into the overall organization. Through a “Buy and Turn Around” and “Buy and Build” strategy, DATAGROUP is actively participating in the consolidation of the IT services market. DATAGROUP’s subsidiaries are divided into the service areas of Services, Solutions, and Consulting. Central services are organized into central service units.

DATAGROUP places particular emphasis on maintaining long-term customer relationships, securing employment, and the sustainable further development of the acquired companies. Through a careful, partnership-based approach, new companies are gradually integrated into DATAGROUP’s organization while simultaneously strengthening their market position. In doing so, we combine the advantages of a shared platform, standardized processes, and central services with the preservation of regional customer focus, local expertise, and long-term customer relationships. This is how we lay the foundation for sustainable growth and long-term success—for customers, employees, and the entire DATAGROUP group.

Organizations that join DATAGROUP benefit from the strong brand. In addition, we invest in the growth of our companies and strengthen them for the long term, so that we can continue our success stories together.

Growth with a European Perspective

The acquisition of IT service providers is an essential part of our growth strategy. In addition to the German market, we are increasingly focusing on selected European markets, where we are specifically seeking companies that meaningfully complement our service offerings, our regional presence, and our customer base. In doing so, we apply the same principles in other European countries that have characterized our successful M&A strategy for many years: partnership, long-term thinking, and the preservation of corporate identity.

With the acquisition of Valid Managed Services in the Netherlands, DATAGROUP successfully completed its first acquisition outside Germany in June 2026. This transaction marks an important milestone in the group’s continued international development and serves as the starting point for targeted expansion into attractive European markets.
